Whos idea was this new interface? They should be fired. These are the reason the new version is worse than the old version. 1. Input recurring expenses is harder: the historical list of transactions for a vendor no longer pops up. Now I have to manually select the options I want to complete an input. 2. The search bar for vendors is all the way at the top. Huge pain now vs before to look for a vendor. Basically cant do it one handed. 3. The "upcoming" number is useless. What do I care what my next recurring expense is if its 2 weeks away? They should have just made cosmetic changes to the old app and left this design in the garbage.

I have managed to figure out how to work with this new version. While its not ideal, it is usable. My main issue is simple that all of the complexity (reporting, etc) is up front all the time. I only really care about my budget, and while I used to be able to see that at startup it is no longer possible. Some of the other smaller optimizations from the previous version are gone as well, such as thr auto fill on vendor name (now you must always hunt in the list). This version is ok. But allowing the user to opt into/out of the complexity could make it so much better.

It was useful before the October 2016 update, but not great. Now its crap. Dont bother downloading, it will just make you mad and be a waste of your time. Im deleting the app and finding something better- shouldnt be hard to do now. p.s. I used it for more than 5 years!

Since this new update, its now frustratingly slow. After every entry it needs to refresh. Thats what happens when you start showing a months worth of data. Date identification on entries is horrible. You scroll a bit and you start entering information against a different date. Poor lack of highlighting. You will highlight today in giant red, but leave the critical time date entry a subtle blue. Blue highlight on blue background. Wow, thats genius! Stupid time stamp. Really? Waste my time and scrolling through time for data entires. At this point, I feel like I can write my own app. Dont waste your money. Brutal.... The currency conversion, you have to scroll through every single one now. Before all you needed was to download the few you wanted. It doesnt even work. Cant find currency exchange rates. Horrible upgraded app!

The previous version was great. Now I cant see the net flows easily. Cant carve our vendors by different time frames. It is difficult to understand the standard reports. I wish I could revert back to the previous version. This upgrade was not well thought out at all. I will look for another app in the interim. It is very disappointing that a upgrade is in fact a down grade. Hope the app writer will revert to previous version while you resolve all the issues.

Please restore the app to its original version. I cant use this one. Very confusing. I just dont like it. It USED to be great!

This app used to be amazing and easy to use. The new update makes using a massive headache and I can no longer see my daily expenses. Seeing as its unlikely to be changed back, I will be switching to another app - even though entering my history will be tedious. DO NOT BUY. There are more user friendly options out there!

*edit* been using for a couple of weeks now and I am getting used to it. It is starting to grow on me again. Love the multiple accounts feature now I can see every account. Would still like the ability to see my main account on the first screen. ---------------------------- I have been using this app since the first iPhone and I loved it. I use it to put in my expenses and it will tell me how much I had left in my account. Now i have to click multiple things before I can see my balance. I gave 3 stars because there are features I like, 1 my balance now rolls over to the next month(although I had to fix a lot of things because the yen I put in 2 years ago started to show I had $149,000 available. I wish) after I fixed that it is ok. 2 I like the graphs that show where I spend my money. 3 finger print reader, I was excited about this cause it saves a bit of time. I think you should change the logo at the top to show info from my account and it will be better.

I used to love this app. The update is terrible. The user interface isnt intuitive and I hate the new setup. I hate the "upcoming" part and I miss seeing the app tell me how much I had left. I also dont like having to use the whole list of vendors; I preferred typing in a few letters and having the name of the vendor predicted. The whole set up is awkward and uncomfortable to use.

I was scared concerning the new update and bad comments. I was confused at the beginning but after using a few days, the new version is awesome ! Dont give up folks ! After almost 3 years of using this app. I believe is the best. And still the very best with the new update ! Very very good !

the number pad is now a calculator without decimal points! what the heck happened in this Oct 13th update???

Update: the new version fixed my complaints. Thank you for listening to us! Back to a 5-star review. Why take a simple, functioning app, and ruin it? This is just like years ago when they would roll out monthly updates that everyone hated. How much did I spend on groceries this month? I have no idea! That used to be a one-touch process. Wait for a follow-up to this update to see if they untangle this mess. Make it simple! If we wanted complexity, we wouldve chosen a different app.

Tracking expenses is so easy with this app. October 14, 2016 Update: Really happy the developers reverted the main dashbord post the massive update. I almost stopped using this app. Still getting used to the new layout.

THANKYOU very much for changing app back to a useable app. Good Job. One thing that could be changed is when you change the day on the main screen then go to make a new entry it should take that date not todays date.

Decimal point gone?

Thanks for the changes. Its a useful app that Ill have the pleasure of using daily again.

Update: I have moved my rating from zero to 3 stars due to the recent update that brings back an important portion of the original interface. If the designers use what they learn from the feedback about making things intuitive and key click efficient I will upgrade my ranking to the 5stars I believe this app is capable of :-) It takes much longer to enter expenses and find historical records. Everything is clunky with extra key clicks required to do everything. The new app was designed to be pretty but completely inefficient and user hostile. Quickly finding expenses is no longer possible. Small details like automatically placing the cursor in the entry box are no longer there. The option to auto add a decimal point to avoid typing it is also gone. Recent transactions were quick listed for particular vendors in the old app which made things quick to enter. The new app is a mess, every category requires manual entry again and again and again. I would pay more to go back to the old version. After giving the new version a chance I am learning to absolutely hate entering expenses, it is terrible !!!! DO NOT UPGRADE IF YOU HAVE THE OLD VERSION

The old version was so easy to understand and had a PDF user manual, this has nothing, except for snapshots on the FYI Mobile site. I do like the new changes but still needs work. How do you add monthly reoccurring bills?
