I am not able to sync my phone with laptop. I need some help.
I’m a Long time user from the Beta Version - great tool for Personal & Business purposes. (which I’m both) However, persistently across multiple years & updates they have not been able to resolve crash within the receipt menu. Everytime it opens & you review receipts and go back to view other receipts it crashes & goes back to splash/dashboard. I’m soooo over that. Too time consuming. Otherwise it’s an okay tool & resource.
I resisted the upgrade to the “Pro” one for years but did eventually and it’s fine. I have used this budgeting app since 2011 & it continues to work for me. I live abroad so the US apps that track your spending are not an option, and this fills in the gap well. Please don’t ever stop producing the app! I don’t even need updates. It’s good enough as it is, though nothing flashy 😂.

It is a long pass due review I owe after a few years back may be 2014 A great app to keep track of my expense and managing budget. The details make me realize how much the government robbed from us with tax after tax for the money we already paid tax when we were paid for the work we provided. With the hands on anytime to keep track of every penny make me realize the unnecessary expenses.
I’ve had this app for years and I love how I can track my own categories by month, year, etc. very easy to use!
I still like this app after 10 years but where are the updates? I would like to see more financial forecasting with graphs and the ability to sync between my iPhone and my iPad—exporting CSV uploads are cumbersome and DO NOT WORK!
I have used this app for over 14 years and it was a good app. However, just recently, within the last year, they did something where now if you have any .txt (text) files on your device and you try to open these, it will automatically open the iXpenseIt app. I have had numerous conversations with this developer over the period of many months and they arrogantly refuse to do anything about this. Additionally, I have contacted Apple and they also do not care about this issue. Think about what this app does with any text you have that would have seriously private information! They have access to it. It’s not right. DO NOT USE. Class action lawsuit should be filed. I want to be clear about something. There is no way to open any text file unless you either delete this app or you do a long press and then select QuickLook.
If you’re a business, you want a yearly report of your expenses. They claim to offer this in PDF, HTML Excel and CSV. The only function that works to create. The report is CSV. The problem is when you create a CSV file you don’t have the attached receipts. Only the PDF does that. This is junk go for a QuickBooks.
I’ve been using this App for years and it previously worked great. It used to sync between devices but doesn’t anymore despite paying fees to have that option. I’ve emailed a multitude of times trying to trouble shoot and responses are very delayed and nothing has worked. I’ve tried getting a number and help but no one ever helps to trouble shoot this. Very frustrating because I can’t have an assistant help log unless they use my phone but I need my phone. Need to have sync function fixed so I can share between iPad and iphone or refund payments for this upgrade. Please fix and please get a number for support!
This app is great but got a lot off bugs. Example: when trying to rename an already created account it just quits and the account doesn’t appear anymore on the list of available accounts. Please fix the bugs. Regards, @JRGN
They don’t have any phone number to call for phone support. He email him you don’t get a response for 24 hours even on replies and when the answering em emails, they don’t answer all your questions
UPDATE 5/5/23: It is impossible to get support. The new update says “New pdf receipt support” but can’t find it anywhere. Try to get support and the links are dead. Come on…really? The manual hasn’t been updated since 20216 - 7 freakin years! This would be 4 1/2 stars if you could attach your hotel receipts, since they always come in PDFs. The capability of attaching the PDF either to the email report or the entry would make this a winner. screenshots of the PDF are just too blurry. please fix and add this capability
I was heartbroken that they changed it a while back but now that it is like how it was this is seriously the best app ever….
Very easy to use, helps me in my business. Very quick and efficient. I have been using it for the last 18 years and love it, would be able to survive without it.
Whats good is you can classify the type of payments or expenses. Examples: household, personal basics, lifestyle, travel, office. etc Also analysis and tracking of your payment methods. Cash. Cheque. eBanking. Credit and Debit cards. App is stable and you can back it up by exporting the file (airdrop) to your Mac if you wish.
This is the best app for keeping up with your $$!! I have used it for over 10 years, they tried to change it once and I almost cried! But they changed it back and I just love it!! I depend so much on it for my budgeting and banking!!! Best most used app on my phone😊

Please fix the auto photo feature. It just doesn’t work unless the receipt is absolutely perfectly flat and against the perfect background, which almost never happens. So it takes two, three, sometimes four attempts and I usually have to just turn off the auto and switch to manual every time. You could also just make the auto/manual a setting option so we can choose to default to manual. Everything else about the app has been great lately thank you!

For some reason, a recent update has caused the “Keep Scan” button not to show up at the bottom of the screen. There’s no way to directly save a scanned image other than taking a picture, saving it to photos, and then uploading it to the app. I emailed customer service, sending them a screen shot, and they never responded. I’ve used this app (pro version) for years. This is the first time I have been disappointed with its functionality and more disappointed with the silence from customer service.

I have used this app for almost 6 years and really like it. It is simple and efficient to use. The latest version is even better, since they improved the image capture for receipts. Excellent app!
The app has had its bad times but at this point it is almost perfect. The only thing missing is being able to save the scan settings. I always want it to black and white, but it always defaults to color

App used to work great, but my phone app and iPad app no longer communicate. Also the auto cropping feature for photographing receipts is inefficient.
I have the multi device syncing subscription for only two devices and the # of transactions are different making the balances in the account different. I have followed every trouble shooting tip, sent back up files from both devices and I now get no response from support.
This is the best way to take control of your finances. First you have to know where it goes. Log every expense. Don’t get frustrated if you get off track. Reconcile and just learn from your mistakes. Eventually if auto fills and is a breeze. However, if you have many accounts like I do..ALWAYS double check which account is auto filled. This is dope.
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now and it is fantastic! I love that you can export your accounts to Excel and that you can customize as you need. This app is exactly what I need to stay on track.
Used to be a great app, the developer became incompetent. For the past 4 days in a row, there has been a bug fix app update every day, but every update introduced even more bugs and app crashes.
Disaster - app has crashed and has not ten fixed. IXpenseIt crashed a couple of days ago. Does not work. All my financial data is lost. It is a disaster
I love this app. I use it for personal expenses because I realized I had no idea how much I was spending and on what. It helps me determine if my spending reflects what I say I believe in. I find it user friendly and flexible. The only flaws are with the user 😊

Best App for my Business!
This is a very effective app. It works very well, and I am extremely happy with it. I have used it for many years. Even better, their customer support is second to none. I am not just saying this, but this is absolutely true. When I had some questions about the app, they were there for me quickly, effectively, and stayed with me until I resolved the issue. I have never experienced this kind of customer service anywhere. Get this app. You will never regret it. The app is logical, easy to use, and very effective in all ways. I use this app to run my entire small company, and I have zero complaints.
Ok first off I’m not really into leaving reviews or at times even giving stars, on this one though this group gets both 5 star and an awesome review for the excellent customer support! For some reason the data on my phone erased all of 2019 and panicked because we needed the expenses. After contacting support I really didn’t think I would here anything back especially with everything we have going on now in the world. Michelle from the support team replied to every email and question I had with suggestions to get things back up. Luckily I made a back up 1 week before the crash and the team helped send ideas to get it loaded again. After many tries SUCCESS. Thank you to all of you we can keep going. Years ago you could restore from a backup file (.ix extension) created from the app. It appears that is no longer possible and years of my financial data is now gone.
Edit: I hope the developers see this comment so here goes nothing: I want a way for the app to calculate APR on what’s due. For example home loan, or credit card. This way, when your paying down a loan, you can see it more accurately. Also would be nice to add 401k info but that might be harder to see because the return can fluctuate. I love this app. Only issue is that I feel like the numbers I see at times isn't what actually happened. But it does work though. I use it a a back up to my own records. If you have a business this helps too

I’ve used this app for 7+ years. It’s great when working. Recently the family sync feature hasn’t been working consistently and to correct they recommend logging out and logging back in. Now I’m locked out of my account because of an error on their side that says “The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”. Unfortunately this app has been having troubles recently.
Unable to log in or allowing me to change the password . No support either .
I’ve used this App “forever”, it is easy to use and a great way to track my expenses. Yesterday, I noticed the App wasn’t synching between my iPhone and iPad. I tried to sync, but had to log out of the App on the iPad. When I tried to log back in, I received a pop-up advising me it wasn’t in the right format. P.S. I only use 4 passwords for all my logins, and when I tried a different password, I received a pop-up advising that I entered a wrong password. Need help ...
